DESCRIPTION:Let’s celebrate National Poetry Month with Poetry readings from:\n\n\nChad Norman (Truro)\nChad Norman from Nova Scotia in 1992 won the Gwendolyn MacEwen Memorial Award For Poetry. His most recent book is Parental Forest\, AOS Publishing. His poem\, The Shoulds\, included in the Lunar Vagabond Collection\, part of a time capsule went to the moon Feb. 26\, 2025.\n\nSara Jewell (Port Howe)\nSara Jewell is a writer and teacher who has lived in rural Nova Scotia for 18 years. She has published two books for adults and a children’s picture book. She teaches social-emotional learning and creative writing at an elementary school\, and is studying for a Master of Education in Mental Health Education. Writing poetry is her spiritual practice.\n\nRichard Dittami (Oxford)\nRichard Dittami: I am a retired LIUNA laborer and a lifelong writer of stories and poetry. I’ve attempted to write poetry that is understandable and thought provoking. Common themes are work\, aging\, and the poor manners we give to Mother Earth.\n\nRosaria Campbell (Wallace)\nRosaria Campbell is a fiction writer\, poet\, and acoustic musician. Originally from Campbell’s Creek\, Newfoundland\, she now lives with her partner on a small farm in Wallace Station\, Nova Scotia. She writes about the people and events that helped shaped her life and times\, and has a particular interest in form and oral traditions. Her short fiction has been published in The Fiddlehead and Prairie Fire and has been nominated for the Journey Prize. She is currently working on novellas\, short stories\, and a collection of poems.
